The 10 Youngest Bloggers Online

There is a lot of fun on the internet and I am amazed to see bloggers as young as 6 years old.

If you think I am a young blogger at 16 you will be amazed to see other bloggers who are far younger than I am, in fact, all the bloggers on this list are. Below are the 10 youngest bloggers online you probably have never heard of.

1. Cam – Age: 6

cam-1 (399 x 110)

The first person on the list is Cam from Cam’s Chronicle.  I came across Cam’s blog from his mother’s blog where she was talking about creating a blog for her 6-year-old boy (who’s been disturbing her about it).

At first, I thought Cam’s blog will be a blog that is not being updated – how wrong I was, Cam updates his blog regularly – which is pretty impressive for a 6-year-old kid.

2. Wendy Lee – Age: 7

wendy-2 (399 x 110)

Wendy is a 7-year-old kid who blogs about everything on her blog, just try to read her posts (or watch the videos) and you will see what fun you can have.

If I had known how to type at age 7, I will be very happy. At age 10 I didn’t even believe I will ever know how to operate a computer 😉 .

3. Allie – Age: 8

Allie-3 (399 x 110)

This cool blog by 8-year-old blogger Allie makes me somehow ashamed of my blog. You will be surprised to hear that this blog receives over 350,000 hits every month and has been featured in so many top magazines (online and offline). This kid also makes thousands of dollars from her blog at age 8 and if she continues this way, she will definitely be a millionaire at 20.

4. KJ Taiwo – Age: 9

KJ-4 (399 x 110)

Taiwo is another amazing blogger who owns the Kid Reporter Blog. Taiwo has been writing since age 6 and that is why he could be an amazing blogger at age 9.

Taiwo has also been featured on various radio and television stations and also in the media – this kid has a bright future.

5. Vinayak Nagri – Age: 11

Vinayak-5 (399 x 110)

I came across Vinayak’s blog while reading his guest post on shoutmeloud and a part of me envies this young blogger who has written a lot of guest posts this year. Vinayak has built a great community around his blog and the high number of guest posts he writes his enough factor for this – this is inspiring for a 11-year-old kid.

6. Gloson Teh – Age: 12

gloson-6 (399 x 110)

There is hardly any of us who don’t know this superstar blogger Gloson Teh. Many of you see this guy as the ordinary young blogger, but believe me, he is far more than that.

Gloson has built a great blog with over 5,000 RSS subscribers and has also received a lot of recognition from the media. In Malaysia (Gloson’s country), this guy is a superstar.

Another thing that amazes me about Gloson his the type of posts he writes, he often comes up with high quality posts and I keep on wondering how he gets the wisdom for this.

7. Ying Hang – Age: 13

ying-7 (399 x 110)

Ying is a real challenge to bloggers, especially those blogging in the internet marketing niche. This kid is not just a 13-year-old kid but a super intelligent blogger who has been able to build a successful blog with over 4,000 Rss subscribers.

There is really a lot to be learned from this guy and another great thing about him is how he is able to come up with lots of great posts.

8. Joe Boyle – Age: 13

joe-8 (399 x 110)

Joe is another awesome blogger who is far too wise for his age. I often wonder how this 13-year-old boy gained his knowledge.

Joe doesn’t just blog but he is versed in coding and understands many of the basic programming languages. Another thing is that he blogs every single day and has never ran dry of blog post ideas for his blog. There is a lot to be learned from this guy.

9. Monik Pamecha – Age: 14

monik-9 (399 x 110)

This 14-year-old guy is a great blogger who has built a very successful blog with tens of thousands of monthly visitors. Monik has written a lot of amazing content on his blog and what amazes me is how he comes up with great posts always. Almost every of his blog post go viral and there are some of his posts with over 90,000 views. This guy is definitely a must watch.

10. Brad Thompson – Age: 15

brad-10 (399 x 110)

Brad is a 15-year-old blogger who has made a lot of impact in the blogosphere, he started with and took a wise decision of moving to his own custom domain. Brad has also been able to get other authors to contribute to his blog and has written a lot of popular posts worth reading.

Brad is having over 2,000 RSS subscribers to his blog and this alone is a sign that he knows what he is doing.

Why Did I Come up With This List?

I didn’t write this list to impress you but I wrote it to challenge you. Many people complain that they have no time or idea on how to start a blog but my question is, if a 6-year-old kid can, why can’t you?

Many of these bloggers have built a blog with thousands of readers and subscribers and they are an inspiration to the blogosphere. Why not take a leap in your blogging career and make a difference.

I remember when I got my first laptop with internet access in 1995, I was 13 years old, I built my first website dedicated to hockey cards, it was ugly and basic but served it’s purpose.

I wish I could be 13 again today and start now, or even 5-10 years ago instead of 15, a lot would’ve changed.

    Nice list 😉

    • Onibalusi says:

      Yeah Jamie,

I also envy these young bloggers…I wonder what they would be when they are 20 🙂

    Hi Oni,

It’s too scary. Blogging at a age of 6 or 7. The internet can be access easily nowadays and we can understand why bloggers are getting younger.

Even though they are enjoying blogging but i still hope they can have some social activities and not committing all their time to blogging. As a father, i wouldn’t encourage my child to stay in front of the computer all times and not doing other things.

    Thanks for sharing this list.

    • Onibalusi says:

      Exactly Lye,

I think their parents should be taking good care of this.

Now that’s a bunch of awesome list, man. These young bloggers will make a very good example to the others on how they express themselves for real. I have started blogging at the age of 21, I’m totally disappointed that I should have done this at early age too. Now at 23, I’m still calling myself a young blogger.

  19. Tinh says:

I am shocked with these talented kids, they are so young but very successful now. Thanks for listing them out @Oni

  20. Kimi says:

    Very amazing bloggers, Oni!

My thought: If my kid blogged at the age 15 yo+ I don’t mind, as long as he still does good in school.

But blogging at age below 10, i am happy that my boy is active in football club, playing with his friends, biking, etc than sitting behind a computer alone.

    Just my two cents:)
