Freelance Writing Course by DailyWritingTips – Take Your Freelance Writing Career to the Next Level

freelance writing course

I was recently opportuned to check out a very awesome course on freelance writing recently and you’ll be amazed at how powerful this course is. As someone earning over $5000 online every month from freelance writing I know first hand that making money by writing for others isn’t as easy as it seems. Getting clients isn’t that easy, and it can be an utter confusion knowing how much to charge.

In case you don’t know, if not for being a little bit smart I’d have been making only a fraction of what I’m making now when I got my first client.

I received an email from a client wanting me to help them work on a group of sites, we went over to Skype and started chatting about it. After this client saw that I have the skills he needed he asked me one very though question all freelance writers are asked, and this though question will determine how much money a freelance writer can make. That question was, how much is your fee per article? Due to me not having freelanced before and having little idea on the subject and due to me not having read any book or course on freelance writing I wanted to list a price, but then I thought, why not get an idea of how much this client is willing to pay. Lo and behold, I asked him how much he would pay other freelancers and it was more than double the amount I would have asked for. Take a look at this. To succeed as a freelance writer you need more than your writing skills, you need basic negotiation skills and you need to know the principles of effective pricing. This is only a fraction of what you need to succeed when it comes to freelance writing and it is also a fraction of what I have learnt in my freelancing journey, and I have only been doing this for 5 months now. In essence, I make more money, yes! But my knowledge is also limited.

What if you could learn from someone who makes more money than I do and who also has “several years of experience” in the field?

Daniel Scocco is a highly successful blogger I so much respect and look up to in the online world, and so that you know, I have gotten a few guest posts published on his blog that has sent me thousands of visitors altogether. My recent guest post on his blog made his blog one of the top traffic referrers to this blog for last month, and even though he hardly does freelance writing nowadays, you will be amazed to hear that it was the foundation of his online business when he started and there are times when he makes as much as $1000 just for writing a single blog post (yes, I mean it!). Daniel Scocco has partnered with another highly successful and experienced freelance writer called Ali Hale and they have both created a course on freelance writing – it doesn’t matter what your level of experience in freelancing is, this course has a lot in stock for you.

If people tell you that you need to start a blog to make money online they’re wrong, at least not if you have skills you can make money with and writing is a skill almost every blogger has. Even if you want to be a successful blogger but don’t have money you can make some quick bucks to help you build your business faster by taking a side freelance writing job. The design for this blog was made for thousands of dollars and my traffic and conversion has increased significantly ever since.

I am only 17, I have a successful blog visited by over 14,000 people every month and I am highly respected where I live. All these was possible because of the huge amount I make monthly by utilizing my writing skills for others and with a course like this I’m sure I’m on my way to double my writing income in no time (you know what that means).

As someone who is hugely interested in your success I’d like you to know that this is my sincere recommendation of this course. I could easily charge you thousands of dollars to coach you on making money online by writing for others but what point is there in it when a simple course can help you do the same.

This course is only $97 and I can assure you of making more than double that amount in less than a week of implementing the tips in the course. And yes, I know you’re looking forward to buying it next week when you receive that new payment you’re expecting but I’d like you to know that it only lasts 72 hours. This means the course won’t be accepting new registrations soon enough.

Contest Winners

I ran a contest recently in which I said I will be choosing two people to join this contest but unfortunately very few people participated. It really isn’t about the numbers because I know very few are dedicated to their success. Below are the two people I personally chose for this contest. I have my personal reasons for doing so.

1. Pierre William Trudel

2. John Burnside

I’m sorry not everyone could win, but that’s what a contest is about. In a few months time I will be running another great contest on this blog and I hope that will produce even more winners.

The above winners will be contacted by Daniel Scocco with their details soon. Stay tuned.

Once again, make sure you get the Daily Writing Tips Freelance Writing Course Right Away!

  4. Hi,
Nice to see the results of the contest. I must really appreciate your choice. The results show your how much you want to help people. I was in fact a little sad as I had not won the contest but the sadness evaporated as I began to think in a positive way. As I had said in the earlier comment that I had struggled a lot to learn the language and the style of writing. I now think I must have to continue struggling and working hard to bridge the gaps. Anyway thanks for the contest and thanks for encouraging people.
    Thank you

  5. Hi Oni,

    Excellent example here.

Our services can be worth much more than we think. It helps to have basic negotiation skills as well as an understanding of going rates when it comes to freelancing.

Never sell yourself short, especially when you spend tens of thousands of hours putting out free content – aka working for free – with all your guests posts, regular posts, etc.

This is why people like Chris Brogan or any top shelf pro commands the rates they do. Bust your tail for free, for months or years, and you set the price. People who know your worth will hire you.

As for your recommendation anything you put your name on or back, I resonate with your testimonial. The proof is in the hundreds upon hundreds of guest posts. You walked the walk and how you have gained authority as am impact blogger.

Thanks for sharing Oni. To your continued success!

    RB

    Hi Onibalusi,
Nice tips there.I just started article writing few days back. And believe me I don’t have much of jobs.I was just thinking the reason and after reading your article i feel the problem was negotiation failure with client over wages.I guess I will start from the scratch.

  9. Jon says:

    Hi Oni,

Those are two highly-skilled mentors running that course, I’m sure it’s a great value. Looks like I’m late to the party as they closed registration but at this point I’m more curious than genuinely interested.

In response to your point about negotiation; a resounding “heck yeah.” If you can incorporate sales and/or negotiation skills into your online marketing tool kit then you’ll be far ahead of the pack.

Thanks for the heads up on the freelance course…

    Jon

  10. This is an inspiring article, thank you so much. I especially liked your post with the negotiation skills that you had, most people that are pro’s with blogging tend to overprice themselves nowadays based on my experience. Good thing that you added it up! Kudos man and I am hoping that you will make more articles like this one.

How I wish I met this course 3 years ago. But it’s not too late right?

  12. Rune says:

Excellent! You inspire me to do better in my writings.I really admire how you come up with this moment. You’re such terrific one. Thank you for the tips. Im gonna apply this on my own.

    I personally trust daniel!!!

  14. Kelli says:

You know, I have an awful time asking for the right amount of money when freelancing. I always sell myself short and ask too little because I’m so awful at negotiating.
